Hearts of Mt. Shasta wants to extend our helping hands to those among us who are hurting and need help. We have tried to be here for those who are in need.
- HMS Food Bank (a food bank with fresh and canned foods)
- Gas Vouchers, for those who are stranded or just need to get accross town.
How the food bank works is a win win for both parties. When you donate food, We give you a discount on your medicine and you are also helping a stranger get by another day. Same with the Gas vouchers, if you donate in our gas jar, you are helping a grateful person (though we dont discount you for gas donations.)We like the fact that the town is supporting each other in times of real need.
